The research projects are the core of PORTUGAL-PHILIPPINES: CONNECTED HISTORIES cluster. Most scholars of the Working Group are researchers working on Southeast Asia and the Philippines, or on the Portuguese presence in Early Modern Asia. Therefore, historical information preserved in Portuguese chronicles and archives or produced by Portuguese historiography are the obvious targets of their interest within the platform.
