In 27th October 2017, Dr. Stephanie Coo, Professor at the Department of History, Ateneo de Manila University, gave a lecture at Fundação Oriente. Her presence in Portugal under the Merging Voices Program and the contacts established with researchers at CHAM – Centro de Humanidades (NOVA FCSH) were seminal to the development of the PORTUGAL-PHILIPPINES: CONNECTED HISTORIES cluster.
